Job Description:
Job Description Job Description This role is located onsite in
San Diego, California. Centura Weatlh Advisory is seeking a
Paraplanner to serve as a key point of contact between clients,
external professionals, and the advisory team. This role integrates
financial analysis, tax compliance, estate administration and
planning. By collaborating closely with CPAs, EPAs, and wealth
advisor professionals, the Paraplanner facilitates the
implementation of complex strategies within client estates while
ensuring accuracy and alignment with client goals. Primary
Responsibilities: Client Planning & Documentation • Prepare and
maintain detailed client financial condition documents, legal and
tax compliance deliverables, and supporting materials. • Manage and
update client information systems to ensure accuracy and
consistency across Salesforce, Addepar, and planning deliverables.
• Analyze client data to support tailored financial, tax, and
estate recommendations. • Support advisors with income forecasting,
tax planning, cash flow planning, and ad-hoc scenario modeling. •
Assist in presenting financial plans and data to clients, clearly
explaining assumptions and rationale. Meeting Preparation & Support
• Prepare and organize materials for client meetings, including
agendas, RightCapital financial plans, portfolio reports, and legal
documents. • Attend meetings with advisors, document key discussion
points, and track follow-up actions for both client and external
professional meetings. Client & Professional Communication • Field
and respond to client, CPA, and EPA inquiries with accurate and
timely information • Serve as a liaison between advisors and
external professionals to ensure alignment, responsiveness, and
timely follow-up on tax, estate, and financial initiatives. •
Facilitate clear communication to ensure seamless implementation of
planning strategies. Cross-Team Collaboration & Coordination •
Collaborate with advisory teams, operations department, and COIs to
align financial, tax, trust, and estate strategies. • Review draft
tax returns (personal, corporate, trust, and gift) and deliver
findings to advisors, coordinating revisions with client CPAs as
needed to ensure accuracy • Coordinate payment of client tax
balances and quarterly estimated tax vouchers with Client Service
Associates. • Review client financial and legal records for
accuracy, flagging discrepancies and coordinating updates with
external parties (CPA, EPA, client) as necessary. • Prepare
investment intake forms to deliver to the investment department
support account setup for separately managed account “SMA”
investment strategies • Assist in training interns and client
service associates, providing guidance and reviewing work for
accuracy and timeliness. Project & Process Ownership • Support the
team’s annual tax project by coordinating data collection from
clients, delivering materials to CPAs, and maintaining clear
communication among all related parties (CPA, client, and internal
team). • Maintain and reconcile client sale and loan schedules for
accuracy, ensuring coordination of interest payments and issuance
of Crummey Notices. • Create and maintain SOPs for recurring tasks
and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency • Contribute to
the creation and refinement of planning templates and checklists to
enhance standardization and planning precision • Perform other
duties as assigned, contributing to a collaborative and
high-performing team environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Advanced
analytical and problem-solving abilities for data-driven
recommendations. • Strong organizational skills with meticulous
attention to detail. • Ability to collaborate effectively with both
internal teams and external professionals. • Experience developing
and implementing SOPs, templates, and checklists for process
improvement. • Technical proficiency working with Microsoft Office,
Salesforce, Addepar, and RightCapital systems. Minimum
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,
Business, or a related field. • 3–5 years of experience in
financial planning, paraplanning, or client service within a wealth
management environment. • Proficiency with CRM and financial
planning software (Salesforce, Addepar, RightCapital). • Working
knowledge of tax, estate, and financial planning concepts.

range for this position is $63,000 to $90,000 plus bonus.
