Job Description Job Description Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Fullerton, CA (On-site) Pay: $23-$25/hour Job Type: Contract (2-3 months) Industry: Food Manufacturing Looking for immediate start! Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced food manufacturing company in Fullerton. This role will focus on high-quality invoice processing, vendor communication, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments. Key Responsibilities Process and review up to 200 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation Perform three-way matching between invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records Code invoices and prepare weekly check runs Maintain and manage purchase orders, resolving discrepancies as needed Communicate directly with vendors to address questions, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payments Partner closely with two AP team members and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflow Assist with process improvements and other accounting-related tasks as needed Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience Strong understanding of invoice processing, purchase orders, and three-way matching High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience with ERP systems preferred (Deacom experience a plus, but not required) Schedule Monday - Friday, full-time hours On-site in Fullerton, CA Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour Search managed by: Allison Lau Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
