Job Description Job Description Job Title: Assistant Property Manager Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager to manage and oversee the operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of residential or commercial properties. This role involves planning and managing property budgets, collecting rent, paying bills, and preparing annual budgets. The ideal candidate will be adept at analyzing financial variances and initiating corrective actions. Responsibilities Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of properties. Plan and manage property budgets, collect rent, pay bills, and prepare annual budgets. Investigate and resolve tenant complaints while enforcing rules of occupancy. Inspect vacant units and ensure timely completion of repairs. Secure properties by contracting security services and maintaining security devices. Facilitate leasing processes, prepare lease agreements, and negotiate terms. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Contract with maintenance services and supervise building system maintenance. Essential Skills 0 to 2 years of experience in real estate property management or similar roles. Proficiency in commercial property management and property administration. Strong skills in Excel and data entry. Excellent customer service orientation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge in financial analysis, property tax, and financial reporting. Experience with month-end closing, account reconciliation, and asset management. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Familiarity with ledgers and accounting software. Work Environment This role requires a professional setting where the candidate will interact with tenants, contractors, and various stakeholders. The position may involve occasional travel to different property sites. Business attire is expected, and the work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility for emergencies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Beverly Hills, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
