Volt is immediately hiring for a Hot Helper / Forge Team Member in Azusa, CA. Let Volt help move you forward As a Forge Team Member you will: Follow instructions from the lead blacksmith to move hot metal on the press. Read and mark parts with serial numbers. Use a forklift to move materials safely. Measure metal parts using calipers and other tools. Learn to use tongs to move hot metal by hand. Train to use machines like manipulators and grinders. Help with other tasks as needed. This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity. Schedule: Monday ? Friday, 1st shift (6:00am ? 2:30pm); overtime may be required Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour The ideal candidate will have: Basic math and reading skills (around 9th grade level). A valid driver's license. Ability to pass forklift training or show safe forklift use.
