Braun Medical, visit www.bbraunusa.com Position Summary: Maintenance Mechanic responsible for repairs , trouble shooting, continuous improvement and preventive maintenance of equipment and processes to ensure efficient production, primarily in the Weigh/Mix /Sterilization operations for the main plant . Perform all duties strictly according to Safety Regulations, cGMPs, SOPs, and other internal and external regulations. Responsibilities: Essential Duties Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems. Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment. Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions. Initiates improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency. For more senior positions, might act as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members. Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices. Will become the subject matter expert at higher levels of job. Documents activities accordingly. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. Expertise: Knowledge & Skills: Required to apply advanced working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action. Performs advance shop floor competencies. Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers. May require some limited judgement in resolving problems. Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors. Preferred Qualification: Experience with Sterilization Autoclave systems, Steam distribution systems Experience with Pressure Vessels, Utility systems, Piping, instrumentation etc. Experience with Pharmaceutical grade Mixing/ Compounding systems, including sanitary grade tanks, CIP systems, piping, instrumentation and accessories. Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc . Required: High school diploma/G.E.D required, Associate's or technical degree preferred. Related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level. Regular and predictable on-site attendance Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. $32.31 - $45.41/ Hourly ID The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
