Providence Health and Services – MSP is seeking an experienced
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift
travel assignment at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica,
CA. The RN will provide comprehensive perinatal care in a
collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting labor, delivery,
and postpartum needs. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care
to patients throughout the labor and delivery process. Monitor
fetal heart rates and manage high-risk pregnancy conditions. Assist
with and support C-sections and vaginal deliveries. Float to
postpartum unit as needed, including couplet care. Document patient
care using Epic EMR system. Collaborate with physicians and
interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Comply with
facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards. Key
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of recent L&D RN experience
required. Must float to postpartum unit. Every other weekend
required. No call required. No first-time travelers. RTO must be
declared at submission. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an
accredited School of Nursing Experience: At least 2 years of recent
Labor & Delivery RN experience License: Active California RN
license Skills: Fetal heart monitoring High-risk pregnancy
monitoring Support for C-sections and vaginal deliveries Postpartum
and couplet care Team collaboration and communication Proficiency
in Epic charting Strong understanding of perinatal nursing
