Whether you're currently in culinary school or simply curious about
the hospitality industry, if you're hungry to learn, dependable,
and ready to jump on the line, we want to hear from you - no
experience required . This role focuses on the creation,
consistency, and overall quality of our food offerings. As a Line
Cook, you will support the Lead Line Cook while helping maintain a
clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment to deliver
excellent dishes to every guest, every time. Pay Range: $18.00 -
$20.00 (Non-Exempt) Hiring Timeline & Availability Needs: Full-Time
hiring deadline: March 4 Part-Time candidates will be considered
after the Full-Time role is filled This position supports a small
but high-performing kitchen team. The current team consists of 3
cooks, with an ideal staffing level of 4-5 to ensure sustainable
scheduling and reduce double shifts. Key coverage needs include
(availability for these shifts is required for consideration):
Monday (Morning Shift): 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Tuesday (Day/Night
Shift): 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM One weekend day required (Saturday or
Sunday) Additional availability is a strong plus Key
Responsibilities Perform routine food preparation according to
established operational policies and procedures Prepare and set up
stations and kitchen areas for service Cook and assemble breakfast
items quickly, efficiently, and with strong attention to detail and
quality Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized
kitchen, storage areas, and restaurant Follow all food safety,
sanitation, and health regulations, including FIFO practices Ensure
all products meet company specifications and quality standards
Properly and safely handle kitchen equipment and tools Communicate
clearly, respectfully, and proactively with management and team
members Demonstrate a sense of urgency while remaining calm and
professional during high-volume periods Arrive on time for
scheduled shifts and remain on duty until properly relieved by a
supervisor Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional
tasks as assigned What This Role Is (and Is Not) This role is ideal
for cooks who value clear communication, teamwork, and shared
responsibility as much as technical skill. Success in this position
requires staying aware of what's happening beyond your own station
- including inventory levels, pacing, and team needs - and
proactively communicating with Leads or Supervisors when support is
needed. This role may not be the right fit for individuals who
prefer working independently without frequent communication or who
are uncomfortable adapting quickly during busy service periods.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven cooking experience
in a fast-paced kitchen environment Line Cook experience required
Hands-on experience with skillet, fryer, and grill cooking
Breakfast cooking experience strongly preferred Pizza experience is
a plus and can be trained Ability to move between stations
throughout the shift (this role is not fixed to one station) Strong
sense of urgency paired with clear, respectful communication
Ability to recognize low inventory levels and proactively restock
or notify a Lead Cook or Supervisor Reliable, punctual, and able to
maintain consistent attendance Coachable and open to feedback, with
the ability to apply direction quickly Well-organized with strong
situational awareness in the kitchen Team-oriented mindset with a
focus on shared success Basic math skills Ability to follow verbal
and written instructions Ability to interact productively with
coworkers to meet service and operational goals Customer service or
hospitality background preferred English proficiency required
Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended
periods of time Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching Ability to
