employment attorney for Los Angeles office. Hybrid schedule,

Salary: $215,000 - $275,000 per year A bit about us: An established
midsized defense firm in Los Angeles has an immediate opening in
their employment law department for a senior attorney with
significant experience defending employers across a broad range of
single-plaintiff matters. This is an excellent opportunity at one
of our best clients who we have supported for many years with a
great work culture, reasonable billable requirement, top tier
benefits, a hybrid schedule with significant flexibility, and
multifaceted bonus structure. A book of business is not required
but welcome. We are seeking experienced attorneys with substantive
experience defending employers across a wide range of single
plaintiff employment-related disputes and administrative charges.

Core responsibilities for this position include: Drafting
substantive motions including motions to dismiss and summary
judgments Preparing compelling oppositions to a variety of motions
Investigating and analyzing liability and damages to develop
effective case strategies Conducting legal research Preparing
discovery requests/responses Taking/defending depositions
Representing clients in court, hearings, trial, and alternative
dispute resolution The ideal candidate is an innovative problem
