Job Details Our firm, a leading name in the Legal Industry, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and proactive Defense Attorney to join our team. This role involves providing legal representation and advice in a variety of complex workers compensation-related cases with our clients. Responsibilities: 1. Representing the company in court and other legal proceedings related to workers compensation. 2. Providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of workers compensation matters 3. Developing and implementing legal strategies 4. Reviewing and advising on contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related 5. Staying updated on changes in workers compensation regulations and laws, and advising the company on any necessary adjustments to business practices. 6. Preparing and presenting legal reports and updates to company executives and stakeholders. Qualifications: 1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Active membership in the California Bar (CA Bar). 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience with a focus on Workers Compensation law. 4. Proven experience in successfully defending clients in complex Workers Compensation cases. 5. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and courtroom advocacy skills. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. 7. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously. 8.
