About the Role:
As a Technical Writing Manager, youll be responsible for the
workload management, recruitment, wellbeing and professional growth
of your team members on the Technical Writing team. Tech
Writers are embedded in the product design and engineering process
and are responsible for long-form product documentation and the
stewardship of release notes, technical alerts, and other
customer-facing information resources.
Technical Writing Managers work closely with Program Managers,
UX Managers, and Product Managers and, of course, Tech Writers and
other UX disciplines. Were a highly collaborative, friendly,

Strategic team planning,

Gather feedback and provide coaching as needed to advance team
member skill sets.

Manage team member workloads, project resourcing, and
coordination in a fast-paced, highly distributed environment. Scope
and prioritize projects.
Plan and prepare for translation/localization of docs.
Some travel for project offsites, team get-togethers, though no
company travel is happening during COVID-19.
Develop general understanding of cybersecurity domain to best
support leads and team members.
Experience supporting people and teams with empathy and
Experience tracking and managing resourcing for multiple

strong organizational skills.
Experience with tech writing, content strategy, or writing
content for localization.
Experience in remote-first environments.
