seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Director to join
our team at our Ontario or Santa Ana location. As an FSQA Director,
you will be accountable for leading food safety and quality
programs across multiple bakeries, ensuring compliance with
regulatory standards, GFSI requirements, and Aspire’s AIMS
framework. This role requires you to be onsite four days per week,
giving you hands-on collaboration with bakery teams and direct
influence over the safety and quality of products reaching our
customers. Compensation Salary Range: $130,000–$160,000 Core
Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing) Lead and improve food
safety and quality programs to support bakery performance and KPI
achievement. Implement and enforce corporate policies including
GMPs, HARPC, HACCP, AIMS, and recall/traceability programs. Serve
as the Preventive Controls Qualified Individual, overseeing Food
Safety Plans and preventive control validation. Ensure full
regulatory and GFSI (BRC/SQF) compliance, including audit readiness
and certification maintenance. Develop, coach, and evaluate QA
leaders while ensuring bakeries are properly staffed and supported.
Guide cross-functional teams on food safety, testing programs,
shelf-life studies, and new product introductions. Maintain
certifications (Organic, non-GMO, Kosher, Halal) and ensure
customer requirements are consistently met. Minimum Qualifications
(What You Bring to the Table) Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology,
Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field. 5 years of food
manufacturing or quality experience, including multi?site
leadership. Comprehensive food safety and quality background
including HACCP, USDA, or FDA experience. Certified in HACCP and
trained in GFSI schemes such as BRC or SQF. Strong understanding of
microbiology, GMPs, aseptic sampling, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, statistical tools, and SAP or
similar systems. Ability to travel 25%–50% to bakery locations.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Lean Six
Sigma training or Black Belt certification. Experience with GFSI,
BRC, SQF, or USDA audits. Background in sanitary design, hazard
analysis, and consumer complaint trending. Experience supporting
new product launches in a manufacturing environment. Strong
