We are actively seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to
provide intensive behavioral support for adult client with
Intellectual Disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mental health
concerns. This is a unique opportunity to make a profound
difference, starting with consistent weekend shifts and
transitioning to a full-time position. About the Role: This is a
high-intensity case requiring a proactive, consistent, and highly
engaged approach. You will be an integral part of a dedicated
support team, focused on implementing individualized behavior plans
and fostering a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment. If

Key Responsibilities: Implement Individualized Behavior
Intervention Plans (BIPs) with precision and fidelity as designed
by the supervisory team. Provide direct, hands-on support, actively
engaging the client in daily living activities, self-care routines,
home-based activities, and therapeutic interventions. Proactively
use and implement crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques,
ensuring the safety and well-being of the client and others.
Collect accurate and detailed data on target objectives, behavioral
progress, and skill acquisition. Document daily activities,
observations, and any critical incidents thoroughly and
professionally. Act as a positive role model and mentor, empowering
the client in their daily life. Serve as a diligent advocate,
ensuring the client's personal rights are protected at all times.
Communicate effectively and professionally with the supervisory
team, family members, and Regional Center employees to optimize
care and outcomes. Maintain a healthy, clean, and comfortable
living environment for the client. Strictly adhere to all
California Title 17 regulations pertaining to behavioral services
for individuals with developmental disabilities. This includes, but
is not limited to, regulations regarding positive behavior
supports, the prohibition of punitive interventions, and the
protection of client rights. Ongoing training and adherence to
these standards are mandatory. Participate actively in team
meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing professional
development trainings. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of
age and legally authorized to work in the United States. A minimum
of one year of direct, hands-on experience working with adults with
Intellectual Disabilities and challenging behaviors is required.
Experience in high-intensity behavioral support or 2:1 settings is
highly preferred. Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a caring
demeanor. Proven ability to effectively manage and de-escalate
challenging behaviors. No adverse criminal background; ability to
pass a comprehensive background check. Ability to obtain or
possession of a current health screening and TB test prior to
employment. Possession of current Adult CPR/First Aid Certification
(or willingness to complete within 48 hours of hiring). Possession
of current CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification (or
willingness to complete within 48 hours of hiring). This is
required for this high-intensity role. Possession of a current
State ID. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: This is an

duties, applicants must be able to walk, bend, squat, turn at the
knees, back, wrist, and shoulders, and use hands to properly
perform techniques taught in CPR/First Aid and Crisis Intervention.
Must be able to see and hear with or without corrections. The role
involves unconventional working schedules, as programs and services
operate 24/7, 365 days a year, with an expectation of working on at
least two end-of-year holidays and at least one weekend (initial
schedule detailed below). Possible exposure to COVID-19. Possible
exposure to profanity, aggressive, and/or offensive behaviors from
residents. Candidates must be prepared to manage these situations
professionally and safely. Schedule: This position will begin with
consistent shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. This foundation will
allow for rapport building and effective intervention
implementation. The role is designed to gradually increase to a
full-time position as the client's needs and the team's capacity
