Job Description:
A company is looking for a Billing and Coding Auditor to ensure
the accuracy and compliance of billing practices in behavioral
health services.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular audits of behavioral health billing and claims for
accuracy and compliance
Review coding of services to ensure alignment with industry
standards and payer contracts
Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions while
collaborating with the billing department
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a
related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical claims billing and/or
coding, preferably in behavioral healthcare
Current certification in Medical Billing and/or Coding
Proficiency in Kipu and CollaborateMD required
Working knowledge of behavioral health billing practices and
compliance standards
