Job Description:

Cold/Hot Header Specialist in Commerce, CA. As a Cold/Hot Header
Specialist you will: Sets-up and operates the various Cold/Hot
header machines in use by performing operations such as forming,
shaping cutting piercing, etc. Using blueprints Operates other
machine tools as necessary to produce tooling required for heading
set up and operation Completely and independently sets up various
types of Cold/Hot Header machines making required adjustments to
diameters, grip lengths, depths, etc. to tolerances of .0007. Loads
wire or bar stock, positions and secures to holding device.
Verifies feed position. Selects machine speed, tooling and other
variable tasks and items required based upon most efficient methods
to maintain tolerances for material and tooling required. Provides
necessary counts, processes documentation correctly, and maintains
daily production logs using computer software applications or
production worksheets This is a full time 2nd Shift opportunity |
3PM – 11:30PM plus OT as needed The ideal candidate will have: 4
years’ of experience with Cold/Hot Header machines Ability to set
up and operate a header machine Must have held linear and diameter
tolerances to ± .0007, T.I.R. to ± .001 for threading, etc Ability
to read engineering diagrams Experience with gauges, calipers and
micrometers Pay Rate: $29.00 - 36.00 per hour *Pay range offered to
a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including
the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific
